Safety for compressed air supply

If compressed air is not dried before feeding it into the compressed air network, considerable amount of condensate gets accumulated in the air line network and causes malfunctioning of valves, pneumatic components and finally leads to stalling of production activity. Hence, the pressure dew point in compressed air system is a decisive parameter for air quality and should be regularly measured.

The portable pressure dew point measuring instrument of AIRSECURE product series is an ideal device for quick checking of air quality after dryer or in the distribution network. For measurement of pressure dew point, the same high quality stainless steel sensing element is used, which is well proven in stationery pressure dew point measuring systems of durable applications.

Two variants are available with different measuring range for systems with cold dryer (upto  -20° pdp) and adsorption dryer (upto -40° pdp).

The high quality dew point sensor is provided with a measuring chamber and filter choke and also a coupling plug for direct mounting without any assembly expenses. After a short stabilisation time, the measured dew point value can be easily read on the display.

In addition, stationery application is also possible: For continuous operation, the integrated USB-port enables connection to a PC based monitoring system. The measurements are graphically represented in a clear form and errors in the plant or at the dryer are immediately detected. The alarm signals can be further transmitted through a optionally provided relay card. This makes the measurement system also suitable for stationery monitoring.
