The HYGROSENS Humidity sensor measuring scale for precision and long term stability

The sensor elements used in our probe are based on a new development of extremely stable polymers with high film thickness and an optimised film construction with an intermediate layer of metallic oxide. First of all, regarding high humidity response, the performance results have significantly improved with respect to secondary source effect and hysteresis. The sensor offers outstanding precision and long-term stability even under extreme working conditions.
In addition, the capacitive evaluation circuit and mathematical model of computation in micro controller is very much technologically optimised. Further innovations like micro controller based signal processing and three-dimensional family of characteristics adds to the precision so that the sensor can achieve a repeatable accuracy of +/-1% rH of full-scale reading.
